TOURING THE "HAND-BAKING SMALL PRISON"
Hot vapor. Surface is red in color. Sorrowful crying of sinful souls. The crying is so pitiful for they hope that someone will come to their rescue.
Both hands of sinful soul are strapped to springs the other ends of which are fastened to iron rails - the hands can be lifted up but the springs pull them down towards the iron rails. The iron rails are baked until red hot. The soul tries to lift his hands and run along the rails but the springs pull the hands back , thus making the soul fall down sprawling on the red hot rails. Thus the hands are burnt, causing the body to sweat and the soul cry aloud.
A case of casanova
Laying young girls/women in lonely places and fondling them with hands, fooling around 12 times.
A case of petition writer
Took pleasure in instigating people to resort to litigation so that can earn money as petition writer.
A case of gambling house operator
Not satisfied with getting good commission from the takings. Juggle with gambling apparatus to cheat gamblers, thereby getting extra profits and become rich. Spending wealth on women, wine and songs, going against the law, involved in secret society activities.
Another case - 4th soul
Issue dud cheques - cheating people and running away to live in other places.
After serving the punishment in this Prison, people who issue dud cheques will take the form of cattle and horses to toil and repay those whom they had cheated.
A case of secret society member
Strong and hot temper. Causing trouble. Disturb public order. Punch people who stare at him. Likes fighting.

VISIT TO THE 7TH TRIBUNAL. INTERVIEW WITH THE KING OF HIGH MOUNTAIN VISIT TO PRISON BLAZING HEAT
Previously, there is an author who wrote the book after touring the Underworld. Nowadays, the world has change to the worse, so the mode of punishment in Hades will have to be changed to meet present day sins. The purpose of writing, printing and distributing this Book, has advantage of doing good deeds than evil deeds.
Narrated by King of High Mountain
It is customary when a person dies, his family will observe 7x7th day death ceremony prayers by employing monks to chant prayers hoping to release the soul from sufferings. The living tend to believe that the observance of first 7th day ceremony will help to lead the soul through 1st Tribunal, the second 7th day ceremony will help to lead the soul through the 2nd Tribunal, and so on, until 7th day ceremony which lead the soul to 7th Tribunal. It is not easy as that as the kin do not know whether the deceased committed how many sins. They think that after passing through 7th Tribunal, the soul would automatically pass through 8th, 9th and 10th Tribunal and then ready for rebirth. It is advisable the living not to waste so much money in paying and chanting of prayers in connection with 7x7th day ceremonies; rather, when one still alive it is better that he does more good deeds than evil deeds. Therefore, when one is alive, one must endeavour to do good whenever possible so that accumulation of good deeds done during one's lifetime will result in 'lucky saints' coming to guide the soul on its journey to death. No need to waste money by paying for chanting of prayers because no amounting of chanting can help a sinful soul to escape punishment.
Why do living always talk of 7x7th day, why not 8x7th or 9 x7th or 10 x 7th day?
Narrated by Prison Guard: In Underworld, the most important Tribunals are the first 7 Tribunals; it is in these 7 Tribunals that most sins are punished and 8th, 9th and 10th Tribunals will only deal with leftover sins that not dealt by first 7 Tribunals. It is good that descendants of dead persons should observe filial piety after death but it is definitely preferable that all parties, while still living should do good deeds.
Narrated by JiGong: When a person dies, his soul will have to undergo punishment in various Tribunals until his soul is due for rebirth. The descendants naturally wish the soul to be released from much sufferings. Therefore, they must do good deeds so as to influence the Heads of various Tribunals to remit sins of their forebears. If the descendants want to engage monks to chant prayers, the prayers will be effective only when chanted by monks who are very pious, otherwise the prayers will not have effect. I suggest human beings that is it better to respect their elders when they are still alive e.g. feed them grain of rice when they still alive rather than offering them a feast or wine after they are dead. Another way to relieve suffering of the soul of dead is for children to print and distribute religious books. By doing this kind of good deed, the soul of the dead will not suffer much.
Prison of Blazing Heat aka Prison of Red Hot Bricks
Because of great heat, it is difficult to breathe. The floor is paved with red bricks red hot, sinful souls walking the length of red hot brick floor keep tumbling and rolling on it, wailing loudly because of pain. At the beginning, the floor is not hot but it gets hotter and hotter as the journey progresses until when the bare feet of the souls cannot stand the heat of the floor, they start to jump and lose their balance, roll on the hot floor, the more they roll, the more feet and bodies get burnt.
Punishment for the following types of sins:
1) Those who over aspire for fame and gain, with sole aim of enriching themselves.
2) Those inclined towards opposite sex but are heartless and unhelpful to those of their own sex
3) Those who exploit or take under advantage of misfortunes of others
4) Those who hot tempered and often curse Heaven and Earth
5) Opportunist who use stealthy means for their own selfish ends and benefits
6) Those who worship the rich and influential but despise and look down upon the poor and less fortunate
7) Those who are partial and virtueless in all their dealings
The prison fire heat is adjusted to the multitude of the sins committed by each person, less sinful soul, less heat, more sinful soul, more heat.

TOURING CITY TEMPLE OF UNDERWORLD - How Souls and Dead are Brought There
Narrated by JiGong: Human life-span is short. Human beings are prone to discuss in detail, however small it may be; so why bother about life? When the beating of heart stops, everthing is brought to an end. Then where would the money and children and worldly property be after one is dead and gone?
Temple also been called Temple of Tutelary Genius.

Temple also been called Temple of Tutelary Genius.
The function of Tutelary Genius
- akin to Police on Earth
- the Guards of Underworld will bring warrant for the soul upon demise of the soul in Earth
- The guard together with representative from Temple will going to the deceased residence to lead the soul to the Underworld
The emissaries of Underworld, such as buffalo-headed, horse-faced, or black-and-white demons merely give a slight tap on the corpse of virtuous men to render them unconscious before leading their souls away. As for the wicked souls, they torture them, deal heavy blows on them, and shackle them like people treat criminals on earth. Then, they lead their souls to the temple of the Tutelary Genius for registration to be entered in the registry-book of the dead.
For ascetic practitioner and any other good person, God of Happiness is sent down to Earth and bring his/her soul, for pious practitioner, his patron saint is sent to bring his soul. In case of pious practitioner who do not have patron saints, some have to go undergo the standard reporting procedure of Underworld for good souls, while others are invited to be presented to the Service of Merit Registry for examination. On the other side, the enlightened persons rise directly to heaven.
Religions may differ from each other, but the religious cause is unique. In order to evolve to a higher astral plane, people must regenerate in the Right Way, and be devoid of partiality and stubbornness. Otherwise, their ascension to heaven will meet with problems of delay.
Those ascetic practitioners who:-
- hold fast to their own personal beliefs
- tend towards rivalry among themselves
- indulge in gossip
- self praise
THis These practitioners tend to lose their temper and when they die, their souls will be sent to Underworld to suffer and then undergo further training,
When a person is due to die, there is always an omen which generally comes in the form of sickness. Why sickness? It is because of age, which is like an old tree about to fall down. Firstly, the roots and leaves decay and then a strong gust of wind blows, the tree topples down.
The sequence - after baby is born, a Record Book is made out and also a tree, an Individual Personality Tree, is planted in Underworld. What a person does or how he conducts himself during his lifetime on Earth, every item of his behaviour is recorded in his Record Book. If there is any sign of change in his tree's growth, it is an indication that the life of the person is coming to an end. Then Underworld's guard quickly refers to his Birth and Death Record Book. If his time to die has come, buffalo-headed, horse-faced, or black-and-white demons is instructed to go down to Earth with an Order to bring the person's soul to Underworld. When his soul arrives, his Individual Personality Tree falls down. This is called Death.
It is akin to grafting a tree, the person grows older and the tree grows bigger. When the soul is about to leave body, it is like the branch of a tree snapping but the bark of the tree still remaining attached to the tree, akin to skin of tortoise shell peeling off and very painful. Some dead person will gnash his teeth in anger, his face will look fierce, he was fearful, angry and so gnashed his teeth, indication of retribution in this life for the sins or unnatural death. If the dead person's face looks peaceful and cheerful, like sleeping, this shows his soul is tranquil and fearless, his journey to Underworld is uneventful.
Narrated by JiGong: When a man ceases breathing, it doesn’t mean that his soul is completely gone. Take the example of an electrical battery. If the contact is switched on but the bulb doesn’t light, the battery is not necessarily “dead”. Its voltage is only too low to ignite the bulb. So it is for man. During these moments, his breath is very weak. Apparently, he looks dead, but in reality he is still conscious of what happens around him, just the mouth cannot express it. At this point, the children and close relatives of the deceased should go to ears and console him by speaking in low tones "Set your mind at rest, we have arranged everything, there is no need to worry". This assurance will tend to make the deceased soul have a care free journey to the Underworld. If he is Buddhist faith, the children can chant "Amitabha". If he is Taoist faith, the chant will be "Tai Yi Jiu Ku Tian Zun". Such prayers or chantings will have effect of making the Fairies in heaven to help the dead person's soul have no fear on his journey to Underworld. Because at this time the soul is like one groping in the dark and the soul's heart is in a haze. When a person dies, his family should take vegetarian dishes, wear plain and simple clothes, must not drink liquor, entertain, enjoy or make merry, because unbecoming actions will influence the Tutelary Genius that report to the King of Hell about their filial piety towards the defunct and the latter will certainly feel moments of consolation. This piece of advise must not be neglected, because it is the duty of the defunct’s children to prove their filial piety toward their parents.

VISIT TO THE PRISON WITH BARBED NETS, FAMISHED LEECHES AND LOCUSTS
Narrated by JiGong: In present day world, many crimes and actions lacking morality are being committed in the dark; how then can human beings say that if they do not see these dark places then they must be clean?
This prison under control of Sixth Tribunal. This prison has barbed netting spread on the ground and above ground. This barbed netting is like what the police on Earth erect when they want prevent the mobs rushing. The first spread of barbed netting rests on the water-bogged ground. Just high enough for a person to crawl on the ground is another spread of barbed netting. No one can stand up and walk between these two spreads of barb netting - he has to crawl. If a sinful soul tries to stand up, his head and back will be pricked by barbed netting and clothings will be torn.
Sticking to the bodies of the souls are two types of movable objects - one locust and other, leeches. They suck the blood of the body and brain of these souls.
Leeches sticks to the body, it sucks the blood and refuses to drop off. Locust suck the brain of sinful soul.
A case of a judge
Corrupt and always passed judgement in favour of those who give bribes. Thus unfair to many parties because did not pass sentence according to the laws of land.
A case of bodyguard
Big, tall and hefty body. Work as a bodyguard in gambling dens, house of prostitution, collect protection money in locality. Plenty of drinks, gambling and women. Extort money in the shops.

VISIT TO THE PRISON OF MOUTH-PINCHING AND TEETH-WEDGING
Narrated by JiGong:
The spiritual path is hardly being observed. Religious persons become more and more scarce. Some hypocrites make believe that they possess a strong faith but in reality, they neglect regenerating themselves. Several fine speakers chatter like magpies, but what they say matches poorly with what they do. They are no better than rootless duckweeds bubbling on water and drifting at the mercy of the winds, which are unable to take root as do rice-plants or trees. Humans are advised to devote their time to self-cultivation. Then, they will progress just as having a good crop every year. But if they neglect the spiritual path toward self-regeneration, they will be like a blind man who solitarily plays his flute in the corner. Once engaged in the path of spiritual perfection, one’s heart must be sincere. The holy scriptures have taught: “those who do good, will gather good fortune in abundance, those who do evil, will reap misfortune to the point of saturation”.
Narrated by JiGong:
Wine cannot cause a drinker get drunk but the drinker gets drunk because of too much wine
Lewdness cannot arouse the desire for women but it is one's inclination that cause lewdness
Money does not run after people, it is people who run after money
Iron Pin Prison
Under jurisdiction of Sixth Tribunal.
The guards forcing the mouths open with iron forks and forcing spiked iron pin cushions into the mouths. All the souls are in great pain that they jump, blood oozing out of the mouths until the souls become unconscious.
A punishment for talking too much, hard mouth.
Offences committed:
1) Sugar coated words to entice women
2) Speak untruths, swindle others
3) Speech like sharp knife piercing the heart of others
A case of a pretty woman
Gift of gap. Impressive eloquence. Beautiful. Married. However, many guys still chasing her. Speak to a rich guy that husband do not take care of her. After obtain much money from the rich guy, she using sharp words to offend and attack him, resulting the rich guy commit suicide. The guy had liberty to take revenge after he died, wrap round her body and die after 7 years of mental torture.
A case of loafer
Took pleasure in taking drugs and like morphine injections. To get money for his purpose, he resort to thieving.
Undergo this punishment to eradicate harmful drugs inside the bodies. Souls cannot be reborn if there is still traces of drugs in the bodies.
A case of scholar
Quote idioms and proverbs readily. Able to convince people to my way of thinking although statement is inaccurate. Often talk on heretical doctrines and quoted the sayings of Sages to slander people. Twisting the quotations of Sages, to do more harm than good.
A case of lender
Lend money at high rates of interest. Charge compound interest. Employ loafers to confront the borrowers who unable to pay back.

VISIT TO THE PRISON OF DRIVER-TEACHING
Under sixth Tribunal. New establishment. Very much like driving institute on Earth. Refresher course.
At hillside, voices crying and calling for help.
These sinful souls previously drivers of motor cars, lorries, riders of motor cycles who involved in fatal accidents causing death of others.
Although punished by human law in Earth, they still undergo punishments in Underworld because causing death and injuries/disability to human beings.
The sinful souls are grouped in large numbers on the slope of the mountain, at a rugged and muddy path. They are restraining with all their might the heavily-loaded antique carts that speed down the slope. The alley is very narrow, providing passage for just two crosswise carts. The slightest lack of care causes the carts to overturn and drag the souls down to the ravines on either side of the alley. Very slowly, the souls try to brake the swift descent of the carts with their heavily torn feet from where blood is flowing on the ground. Some of the souls, for lack of caution, overturn their carts and tumble down to the abyss. Some others are moaning atrociously, lying under the pressure of their loaded carts, because they tripped. Others again are run over by their unmanageable carts and blood is flowing profusely. This is quite an ingenious punishment, but its effect is appalling.
A case of omnibus driver
While rounding a corner, s small girl rushed out from a side lane on to the path of the bus but couldn't stop in time, the poor girl was rolled over and died on the spot.
Also, had involved quite a number of accidents, causing slight injuries to others. Had been sacked by bus company.
A case of taxi driver
Drunk. Drove fast, vision impaired, not full control of taxi, roll over a pedestrian and killed on the spot.
A case of businessman
Riding motor cycle daily to deliver goods. Take pleasure in exceeding speed limit and ignoring road regulations. One day knock down a man, inflict him severe injuries, resulting the victim become permanent nerve disorder.
Narrated by the Prison Guard
The stories of these three souls to remind human beings to be careful when driving motor vehicles, they should value the lives of others as much as their own. To those involved unintentional accidents, the punishment is light. To those involved in deliberate and driving under alcohol, hit and run, not stop and render assistance, the punishment dished out is heavier. Therefore, I advise drivers to stop and render assistance in any accident they are unfortunate to be involved in.

Therefore, I advise drivers to stop and render assistance in any accident they are unfortunate to be involved in.

Disclaimer:
I am layman Buddhist/pagan.
The summary is based on what I perceive is 'important' in the book.
Conversation in between Deity JiGong, Yang Sheng and Prison Guard
If there is contradiction of meaning convey, the book prevails.
There are times I might questioning parts of the points inside the book doesn't mean I don't believe it. I need enlightenment on the doubts that I raise.
VISIT TO THE PRISON OF KIDNEY-LOPPING AND CASTING TO RATS
Many rats roaming the floor of this Prison causing the pain on sinful souls who are scattered on the floor with hands and feet bound. The souls screaming and struggling hard.
The rats are big as cats and look fierce.
The male souls either:-
1) lewd persons
2) broke commandments of religions
Their penis cut off and the rats attack the remaining roots of the penis in order to cut off the source of their sexual evil. The pain affects the heart terribly.
A case of ascetic believer
Converted to religious order. Decide to obey the commandments and not marry and have children. Some time later, being unable to resist the lust of the flesh, had maintained illicit relations with a religious woman. After death, far from rising to paradise, had been arrested by the black-and-white demons and led to the Memory Hall where been shown to Mirror Revelator of Past Crimes the detailed misdeeds of past life.
After that, was sent to the 6th Palace where the irate King reprimanded in these terms: “As a religious, you were well taught on the religious law, but you violated it. Your sin is all the more grave”, and had been condemned to the prison of kidney-lopping.
First, the soul was castrated by the demons. Then, the soul was tied up and thrown to the attacks of the rats. Every day, the sharp pains of torture render me mad. the soul regret having made a false step that led to eternal suffering.
Advise all those who are converted to the religious way to seriously observe the divine rules. Otherwise, they will obtain no merits after their death, but instead will have to pay for their crimes in hell.
A case of young student
A student of lower high school, was led by bad school companions to patronize the brothels.
Every time the said student had some money, went to those dens. The student encouraged other comrades to join in the adventure with prostitutes. A few of them caught venereal diseases. After his death, was arrested and sent to this prison.
Now spending long months and years of suffering. Too late for repentance.
This Prison cater for:-
1. Those indulged greatly in womanising
2. Those patronising prostitutes before got married
3. Those indulged in enticing opposite sex
4. Those took to clandestine sexual enjoyments after marriage

6. Those practice incest
7. Those who rape woman and those who took turns to do so
Before undergo punishment in this prison, also undergo punishment in Heart Wrenching Prison in Fifth Tribunal.
To the one firmly determined to repent and change, He grants a reasonable reprieve. After reading this book on hell, if he has copies of it printed and distributed free to his fellow-beings as a warning, he can obtain partial reduction or total pardon for his sins.

VISIT TO THE 6TH PALACE OF HELL INTERVIEW WITH THE KING OF PALACE (KING BIAN CHENG)
Narrated by JiGong: Human lifespan not very long, in present day, can live more than 70 years old. Heaven does not restrict the lifespan of human beings but because of avarice, alcoholism, night clubs, vice and gambling, human vitality is wasted to a great extent, thus, bringing necessary untimely death. I wish to exhort human beings to take up ascetic practices thereby extending their life expectancy.
Salient points by King Bian Cheng:
The world is in great turmoil.
Therefore, "Journey to the Underworld" to be written for masses. To see the suffering through punishment here.
Nowadays, due to advancement in science, people no more believes in spirits and devils, therefore, we now can see or hear many murders, robberies, treacheries and lecheries throughout the land.
People don't care for the morrow and if they not spotted by Government laws they dare to do anything.
Those human beings who do not believe in existence of spirits and devils, and do not believe in cause and effect, who lead sinful lives, their souls cannot escape punishment in Hell when they die.
The Mills of God grind slowly but surely - Heaven retribution, is slow but sure.
Loud Shrieking Prison - souls that sent here suffer even worse punish than those in Fifth Tribunal. Cater for those souls that committed grave sins and lack of morality.

SECOND VISIT TO THE PRISON OF HEART-WRENCHING
Narrated by JiGong: In this world there are people who are not capable of achieving any meritorious deeds or attaining any success in anything, yet they see others progress or achieve fame, they become jealous. To hide their own weakness of failure, they criticizing and finding fault on others' achievement. They also like to run down religious beliefs of others. When such people die, their souls will be sent to the Prison of Heart-Wrenching, to extract their dirty hearts for being jealous and bad mouthing religious of success of others, for purification.
Narrated by Prison Guard: The heart of a person is under direct control of oneself. The gouging heart punishment is so terrible that there is no other suffering to compare with. The injured heart can cause fright to the six roots (ear, nose, eyes, body, tongue, mouth).
Case of government officer
Had become jealous when seeing fellow government officers earn promotion where he didn't. He feels immediate superior treated him unfairly. He begin revenge by telling untrue stories about his colleagues.
JiGong advise: Human beings must understand they should never have jealous heart. Being jealous heart had destroyed close relationship of society where one acted in a way detrimental to public welfare.
Case of ardent believer of Buddhism
Had read a lot of literature of Buddhism. Had look upon people of other religions as heretics and despised them. Other religions was of lower order, far beneath of Buddhism and after that, they had no chance of going to Paradise.
King Sen Luo had scolded him for not have a heart for others and yet belittle other religions. Not understand laws of Buddhism stand for the equality of all religions. If any religion teaches morality and discourages evil deeds, then that is a true and proper religion. Laws of buddhism are boundless, so are other religions.
Case of planchette handler of certain temple
When temple management did not give me due respect and consideration, he began to question of his sincerity. He told management that planchette writing was fake and directly under control of handlers, therefore they should not believe in deities. The management then stop then lost faith and stop frequenting the temple.
JiGong: Planchette writing represent deities' communication and nothing bad should be spoken about it. The main and most important purpose of planchette writing is to teach people to do good and lead an ascetic life. Therefore, to belittle planchette writing is insulting to the deities and is great sin.

VISIT TO THE PRISON OF HEART-WRENCHING
Prologue: The Chinese culture and its traditional morality were originally the result of the synthesis of the vital force of heaven and earth. From thence, they always remain new and exist indefinitely through the ages. Nowadays, people are more inclined to materialism. They adore nothing but material welfare. They deny the intrinsic value of their own culture and totally submit to the material civilization of the Occident. Their excessive veneration with regard to foreigners renders them ungrateful to the extent they forget their ancestors and their race. They weaken themselves and bring shame to the next generation. Still worse, with the rapid progress of science and technology, these people pride themselves for having daunted nature and outdone God himself. They never realize that a single tidal wave suffices to eliminate every living creature with their inventions. Even if he is well-equipped with his science and technique, man is simply a small boat drifting on the immensity of an ocean. His pretention to excel God and destroy the great nature with his science and technology will necessarily lead him some day to bear the terrific catastrophes of heaven. The man who considers himself free from the laws of nature often behaves immorally. It is therefore desirable that every person of generous and virtuous character considers carefully before making any commitment.
Gouging Heart Prison (Heart Wrenching Prison)
Cries of great grief. Sorrowful screaming of the souls. The guards are splitting open the chests of the souls and gouging out the hearts, exactly like animal slaughter house where they cut open the stomach of pigs and extract the hearts and intestines.
The hearts of such souls had become so evil that the guards have no alternative but to gouge out these evil hearts and cure/cleanse them.
A case of a learned man
Had read lots of books, went to university, had interested in current events and influenced by foreign civilization and culture. A Christian. Despise parents who continue worship idols, old fashioned and were behind time whom pray to wooden figures and were superstitious. Had try to converting parents and told the parents to stop worshipping to wooden figures but fail. Thus, become angry and threw ancestral tablets to the ground.
Narrated King Sen Luo (for that soul):
It is not an offence to believe in any religion and to be converted; but in your case, you threw away ancestral tablets which action is totally unpardonable. In addition, when you went preaching, did you think about 'drinking the water and giving a thought to the fountain which supplied the water?' Your preacher told you not to worship wooden figures but you never understand the truth. The wooden cross, the bible and the preacher are all like wooden figures; why did you worship them? People say 'clear off wooden figures' - this means you should look through the mask of humanity and must not be greedy for the pleasures of the flesh but must aim at the filing of empty spiritual life with worthwhile undertakings and actions. "Clearing off wooden figures' also means respect spiritual faith for eternal life. You misunderstood the true meaning and thereby destroyed the ancestral tablets thus destroying the morality of your ancestors. I ask you; where did your body come from and what was your surname? All these were given by your ancestors. Heaven is 'great God' and ancestors are "small God". You forgot your origin and cheated your ancestors thereby going against Maker's heart, that's why God did not bring you to Heaven and therefore you dropped into this Prison.
Narrated by JiGong.
Religious faith teaches man the way to regenerate. By no means should he accuse or criticize the faith of other people, pretending his is true and unique. That’s the law of God. By pretending that one’s religion is authentic whereas the others’ are false, one sows discord. Once the feelings of mercy and fraternity are lost, people deviate from the straight path. If it is possible that such lopsided people manage to obtain success in the Way, the deities themselves will be in disharmony, at odds, in dispute, and paradise will become a battlefield instead of a kingdom of felicity.

VISIT TO THE 5TH PALACE THE KING OF PALACE’S ACCOUNT ON THE TORMENT OF CHEST-CLEAVING AND HEART-WRENCHING
Yang Sheng: Deities have power to present at several places at same time but wondering why JiGong not able to make it for last trip.
JiGong: Readers have chance to acquainted with Yang Jian.
Meeting with King Shen Luo, liken to Bao Gong, who stands for justice and fair play.
Narrated by King Shen Luo, present day human beings struggle mainly for fame and money. They don't care for conscience, reason or righteousness which are lost on them. Everywhere one can see deceit being the order of the day. Restaurants, barber shops, night clubs all make use of girls to induce men to patronise them. Officers from Hades constantly visit Earth to record instances of breach of morality and there is no end of such records. Also, there are places where people visit to satisfy their carnal desires e.g. dance halls, houses of pleasure etc, where joy will be followed by sorrow. Human beings advised not to resort to earn money through prostitution otherwise the sins are so great that they cannot be repaid even in 3 generations.
Narrated by King Shen Luo again, He in charge of 5th Tribunal, iron-faced and not ask for gratitude. Every soul come there becomes frightened because sentences imposed are very strict and severe.
Prison here can also be named "Loud Crying Prison" because nothing can be heard here except loud crying. There are 16 Heart-gouging small prisons to punish those who committed:-
a) lawless heart
b) evil thought heart
c) stubborn heart
d) hate-filled heart
e) malicious heart
f) lewd heart

TOURING FIFTH TRIBUNAL, SEEING WANG XIANG TAI AND PAYING RESPECTS TO KING YEN LUO
This time Deity JiGong is absent, Deity Yang Jian accompany Yang Sheng. Travelling with Black Dog instead of lotus.
Wang Xiang Tai - Platform for Vision of Native Place
For the souls to look back at Earth, to see what their families are doing after their deaths.
A case of a soul, cried after Wang Xiang Tai, as his family does not feel any sorrow for his death as he loved his family very much when alive.
One when alive never thought of ascetic practices and when dead, can't expect family members to offer prayers to release suffering. This is very high expectation because present day families do not believe in prayers and redemption of souls.
One should thought of ascetic practices for future redemption when alive.
A case of another soul, smiling after Wang Xiang Tai, as he saw his family praying to his tablet. He was kind hearted but not successful ascetic practitioner and realised if there is life there must be death. No regrets.
Third eye of Deity Yang Jian
A combination of heaven, earth and self. Great Power. Catch evil spirits on Earth.

THIRD TOUR OF PRISON OF POISONOUS BEES
Deities, through the services of mediums and planchette writing aim at helping and sympathising with the troubles of human beings, but some mediums outwardly say that they want to cultivate morality by helping people but have ulterior motive to get money. They do not cultivate morality and their misdeeds are regarded as grave sins.
There are some physiognomists who praise themselves by advertising the correctness of their interpretations, they fleece their customers of hard earned money. When such people die, their souls will be severely punished in Hades and reborn as birds in lonely valleys.
The bees instead of producing honey, they inject poison into the bodies of sinful souls. When on earth these souls had so many sweet things, they now have to taste some bitterness in Hades. When stung, run about the whole place trying to escape but there is no place to go.
A case of a medium of a temple
At first deities borrowed the body as a medium and successful in curing a lot of cases which doctors cannot solve.
Some cases when deity not enter into the body, the Medium pretended to enter into a trance and bluffing the devotees that devil had disturbing them and had to be appeased. The devotees told to buy joss paper and pay few thousand dollars for Medium to pray. With this practices, able to buy big houses.
A case of a physiognomy
Issuing amulets. Set up stall in the road side to cater the needs of customers.
Make easy money from a customer by telling the customer his fate is gloomy and to spend money to counter it. The physio able to assist by drawing an amulet for him.
Repeat this when opportunity arise.

SECOND TOUR OF PRISON OF POISONOUS BEES
When deities/gods visit Earth their intention is to recruit suitable disciples for continuance of ascetic practices and cultivate divine element within oneself to revert to original condition at beginning of time so that human beings can attain future bliss towards becoming Deity/Gods.
However, there are quite number of them who use good name of Deity/God to swindle and bluff innocent and God-fearing woman. Such people commit great sins. It doesn't matter what religion one practice/embrace but must diligently follow the instruction dictated by one chosen religion.
Attacked by bees
Bodies swollen, heads go swimming, feel feverishly hot and fear of cold due to poison by bees.
A case of Elder of the village
Proposal of building temple, had undertook money from villagers, however, put aside a portion of money for own use. Therefore, advice cannot play about with monetary contributions which are intended for religious purpose.
A case of Buddhist priest
Had ordained priesthood at the age of 15 but no respect or regard for the Buddhist culture. Had stole some of the money contributed by worshipers for personal use. Furthermore, perform different length of prayers according to money paid. Less money, shorter the prayers.
Not too eager to say prayers for the poor, giving all sorts of excuses like having prior engagements. In case of wealthy patrons, happy to service and work hard to recite prayers.
Advice:
1) should improve morality, eliminate carnal thoughts, discard craving for worldly gains, do not worship money
2) One when join monkhood, renounce the world and think differently, concentrating on ascetic practices and doing good.

TOURING PRISON OF POISONOUS BEES
The life of a devout ascetic practitioner requires great self-denial and self sacrifice. If one is in earnest surely will succeed. Nowadays, many people use the name of Deities, Sages for their own material gains e.g. make statues of sages and sell to tourists. Others use good name of temple, shrines and places of worship to hoodwink well-intentioned women. These malpractices damage and abuse the propriety/reputation of sages. Thus, committed great sins.
This prison under the charge of 4th Tribunal.
The Guards of Hades directing souls to the Prison and hammering the souls. The bees sting the souls thus causing the souls to cry, shriek and groan in pain.
The bees has spirituality, they sting only those who are sinful, exactly the same as flies and mosquitoes do not invade places which are clean but only those places which are dirty and filthy.
The bees punish those who used the good name of Deities and Saints to get quick money or those who prey on women's simplicity for a living.
A case of Medium of certain temple
One of handlers of the planchette board for number of years. Later promoted to number 2 of the temple. Through planchette writing, the temple published a book telling people to do good deeds, for free distribution.
Had collect money from donation for the purpose of distributing and printing the book. However, part of the collection had been used for personal purpose.
Read so many good books but did not follow the books' advices.
Sentenced in this prison for 28 years.
Those people who spoil the good name of temples and places of worship have committed grave sins have to undergo great sufferings in various Prison of Hades and had to pass through 4 types of reincarnations:-
1. Worm
2. Fish
3. Fowl
4. Animal

TOURING THE FOURTH TRIBUNAL - MEETING WITH WU GUAN WANG
Quote from Buddha Tse Kong:
Mankind! Why are you so hurry-scurry?
Do three daily meals keep you busy?
Mankind! What is your desire?
Are you preoccupied all day with honors and gains?
Mankind! What on earth makes you so passionate?
Are you plagued with desire and your body disagrees?
Mankind! Of what are you thinking?
Do illusions almost drive you mad?
Mankind! What have you obtained during your existence?
Will a burdened life leave you with empty hands at death?
Mankind! What will happen to the lascivious?
Bad karma: Family virtue lost, greed begets hate.
Mankind! What are you waiting for?
Return to the right Way and regenerate continuously.
Mankind! What are you doing in the way of religion?
Rise from the mire and take excursions that are fun.
Mankind! Where will you go on your excursions?
Profound enjoyment awaits you aboard the “Arch of Mercy”.

The summary is based on what I perceive is 'important' in the book.
If there is contradiction of meaning convey, the book prevails.
There are times I might questioning parts of the points inside the book doesn't mean I don't believe it. I need enlightenment on the doubts that I raise.

TOURING THE OFFICE OF FOUR STAGES OF REINCARNATION (THIRD VISIT)
When human beings die, there is much crying and wailing. But when these animals die, their death mainly due to slaughter rather than by sickness. This slaughtering generally done by human beings and these creatures know they have no way to escape, they feel frightened and scream.
When these creatures die, their souls sucked by energies of Underworld into 3rd Tribunal. They cannot return to human form unless they had repaid their sins.
Human beings must understand if they live a very sinful life and maintain evil mind, when they die, their souls reborn as animals according to seriousness of the sins.
Why some good people die so soon?
Human beings undergo 4 stages of existence - birth, old age, sickness and death. Everyone can't escape. The most important thing is when one still alive, and do good deeds. Although body decay, the spirit still alive.
Understanding how animals revived
Equipment - like suction machines.
Mosquitoes killed by human beings or are sprayed to death, their souls are sucked by Underworld and brought here. They are again sucked by suction machine. Inside this machine are hundreds of souls collected into soft movable souls (hundred to a ball). The souls of mosquitoes are dispersed souls and these dispersed souls are gathered by hundreds into a ball and the ball ejected out of the sucking machine. When the soft movable ball comes out, at first it will float but very soon it will drop. When revival soul is sprinkled on the ball, the dispersed soul when transform into human soul.
A field of animals
Collection of every kind of animals.
A case of a cock.
He was a rich man's son who rape young girls and used money to buy teenage girls so he could sleep with them. Thus, he was sentenced to be reborn as cock for 5 generations.
A case about having meat
Every creature has a living soul but of different types and shapes. Exactly like human being's spirituality. Human beings like to eat meat because meat contains proteins and fats which help to build up body. Inside the bodies of these creatures had poisonous impurity present. When an animal, fowl or fish is about to be slaughtered, this creature gets frightened and struggles thus the blood circulate faster and become abnormal and thus releasing poisonous impurity into blood streams and to stick to the flesh. When the flesh cooked and eaten, this poisonous impurity also absorb into human body.
A case of human being
When a person gets worried or frightened, the blood in his heart changes and accumulation of worried and frightened will lead to sickness.
A case of ape
In previous life he was a human being but was too smart, in negative sense, resulting damaging himself and committing sins. So on rebirth, he becomes ape whilst retaining his human qualities.
A case of parrot
When he was human being he was talkative and talked too much and boastfully, often speaking to cause families to quarrel and breakup. Being reborn he was imprisoned in a cage and has to listen to people speaking and on his part trying to imitate what is spoken and what he hears.

TOURING THE OFFICE OF FOUR STAGES OF REINCARNATION (SECOND VISIT)
In previous lives they had committed many grievous sins thus causing them to be reborn as beasts, animals, fowls, fishes and worms.
Of all earthly creatures, human beings considered the most enlightened and intelligent. Human beings must put into practice more moral and ascetic needs.
Case #1 Stag
Previous life was a monk. Previous life contacted a disease and blaming God of Mercy for not protecting him from suffering. He refused to be vegetarian and broke Buddhist Commandments, got married and raise a family.
Currently living in mountain, ate green grass, drinking spring water and dew.
This stag undergo 3 rebirths and therefore repaid previous sins and went to Revival of Spirit Pavilion to drink Revival of Spirit Soup.
Souls that transferred from Third Tribunal to Tenth Tribunal will be reborn as following types of human beings:-
Poor, maim, blind, deformed and undergo further sufferings.
In new lives, they hopefully realise necessity/benefits of ascetic practices so that on their next rebirth they will not afflicted with any such deformities.
Universal Law
Heaven produce energy. Planets produce energy. Human produce energy. These energies evolved and intermingle to create existence.
If energy of heaven stops, Heaven will not exist. If energy of planets stops, planet will disintegrate. If energy of human beings stops, human will die.
Besides earth, heavens and human beings also have gravitational. Anything that is pure will be attracted to heaven. Anything that is impure will be attracted by gravitational of Earth.
Human desires are creation of one's heart.
If you are ascetic person, your spirituality is pure and will float and will be attracted to Heavenly energies; even if Hell guards want to catch your soul, they will not succeed in their effort.
Instead of wasting money for prayers for salvation, do good deeds e.g. print and distribute religious books, leaflets, tracts, help the poor, needy and deserving.

TOURING THE OFFICE OF FOUR STAGES OF REINCARNATION
A quick advice ...
Even if the adepts don’t come to the temple anymore, but continue practicing meditation assiduously with zealous hearts, their aureolas will certainly become brighter and brighter. Reversely, if they neglect their meditation practice, and act impulsively to commit vile acts in secrecy, their aureolas will blacken and their sheen will disappear. The malevolent spirits are afraid of such brightness and dare not approach it. Now if after leaving the Temple, the adepts act immorally or cruelly, their aureolas will be completely extinguished. The malevolent spirits and demons, who are fond of obscurity and are abhorrent of luminosity, will penetrate and possess them.
Souls of animals and beasts, poultry and birds, fishes, shrimps and worms that died, now returning to Underworld and proceed to Ying Yang Jie to report their arrival.
These souls are rushing as they are chased by someone.
Reason is because when they are alive, they had been slaughtered by human beings and they were afraid and frightened, and when they were dead their souls still thought that they were still being harassed and therefore they are naturally frightened.
Another reason is these souls had already gone through 3 early stages of rebirth (past, present and future) and after death, on returning to Hades their souls are sent here but they still have fear in them although they are no guards to chase them.
When they are alive, their souls were very small like particles of sand and hardly discernible. When they die their souls return to their original size to be sentenced by various Tribunals.
These creatures didn't enter into Gui Men Guan (Portico of Demons) the main gate, instead, they enter by the side gates. They have separate place to report.
Office of 4 stages of Reincarnation
These animals' souls return to Underworld in preparation for them to return to human form.
Called "Thousand Years Office" - because there is creature e.g. tortoise whose life span is 1000 years.
If human committed grave sins dies, his soul will be judged by Ten Tribunals for sentence after which he will be reincarnated into either of 4 types of creatures. These 4 types of creatures are:-
1st Class - those born by female species - beasts and animals
2nd Class - those hatched through eggs - poultry, fowl, birds
3rd Class - those born in water - fishes, shrimps
4th Class - those born by their own change in form - worm

One and all, they look blue with cold, their lips are black, their arms trembling. They have neither strength left for crying, nor for groaning.

There are times I might questioning parts of the points inside the book doesn't mean I don't believe it. I need enlightenment on the doubts that I raise.

Disclaimer:
I am layman Buddhist/pagan.
The summary is based on what I perceive is 'important' in the book.
If there is contradiction of meaning convey, the book prevails.

VISIT TO THE 2ND PALACE (2ND TRIBUNAL) - INTERVIEW WITH THE KING VISIT TO THE CONFERENCE HALL
Buffalo-headed and horse-faced guards escorting the souls.
As a rule, the souls of the dead, after being carefully judged by the 1st Palace as to their merits and their sins, are handed over to the 2nd Palace.
Those souls that not admit their sins in First Tribunal then been shown their merits and demerits here again here.
The Judge here have authority to send the souls to any prison/division in hell or any new prison/division of hell.
Like in Earth, new inventions have been discovered, so new divisions been set up to cater to punishing new souls. Meaning whatever inventions or innovations take place on Earth, such occurrences reflected immediately (simultaneously known) on Heavenly mirrors which automatically inflect the same in Hell.
In each Tribunal/Palace, special conference been set up by Boddhisattva of Underworld, for the souls that repented for their past sin and admitted here to listen to the discourse of morality etc. The souls are tested and if found that they have assimilated and profited through preaching and discourse, they will be promoted to higher level for ascetic practices.
Kuan Yin, the Supreme Goddess, is seen sitting on her dais of lotus, clad in a white silk robe, with a twig of willow in hand that she dips in an urn of holy water and mimics the gesture of sprinkling it over the audience. What does her gesture mean?
The water has effect of salvation for human beings or those having affinity and realise their past doings and repent. They will be saved and put on board to everlasting happiness.
Kuan Yin's sermon
- since the beginning of time, there has been endless series of births, deaths, and re-births
- although the body decays, the spirit never destroyed
- On Earth, there is love, hatred, jealousy, ill-feeling etc and this will continue forever, following the theory of cause and effect, continuously transmigration of souls, a series of deaths and re-births in various forms.
- Nowadays, newborn child is more enlightened, intelligent and active. This is like a flame of a candle when blown by the wind - anytime the flame can be extinguished. Because of assume smartness of people at present, their spiritual nature is self exhausted and causing so much suffering and misunderstanding everywhere and result in much social disorder.
- Because of misdeeds in Earth, the sins follow the souls here in Hell
- If one has a sinful thought, the sin is already recorded irrespective of whether it is actually committed or not.
- Though sinking in the world of darkness, you still can preserve a minimum of your conscience which is not yet darkened. You must repent of your past misdeeds. I advise you to understand the Truth and endure the mortification of strenuous punishment, so that your past crimes can be eliminated. Suffer the pains stoically, and shake off all ill will. I shall come again to bring you my blessings.
