Journey to the Underworld Trip#62
I am layman Buddhist/pagan.
The summary is based on what I perceive is 'important' in the book.
Conversation in between Deity JiGong, Yang Sheng and Prison Guard/Officer.
If there is contradiction of meaning convey, the book prevails.
There are times I might questioning parts of the points inside the book doesn't mean I don't believe it. I need enlightenment on the doubts that I raise.
VISITING EARTH STORE BODHISATTVA
CELEBRATING COMPLETION OF JOURNEY TO THE UNDERWORLD
Narrated by JiGong:
Today is a happy and auspicious day. Our two years of hard work obtaining material for our Book, Diyu Youji ends today. This rare Book discloses the truth about human beings. Perhaps there are people who do not believe, but reading this Book is exactly like looking at the movies, scene by scene. I hope that those who read this Book will believe what it tries to convey and will not have any doubts whatsoever. You must realize that “birth” has a small beginning whereas “death” has unlimited continuity which is also omen of birth. You must not think that after death, everything is over. In your periodical visits to Hades, you must have seen that, from ancient times until present day, souls of people who, when alive, had observed filial piety, chastity and loyalty, after death, their souls had a certain brightness which will lead them to Heaven to be respected forever by human beings. But those, who when living went against moral obligations, justice and righteousness, after death, their souls became tarnished and dirty and were sent to the Prisons in Hades to be punished and to undergo sufferings. I do hope that human beings, after reading Diyu Youji will be inspired and will not take the evil path but instead, will follow the righteous one. Today will be our last visit to Hades. Yang Sheng, be more alert, dress properly in preparation to receive your reward.
Due to completion of the Book - Journey to the Underworld, the Head of Hades specially arranged for front ground of Palace of Earth Store to be laid out with many tables for dinner.
Guest of honor - Earth Store Bodhisattva, bodhisattvas, deities, novices, scholars.
Because Hades is accepted and recognised by all religions, the founders of Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity, Islam and Buddhism and other new religions and ascetic practitioners are all invited.
Heavenly nectar and peaches had been presented by Yao Chi Jin Mu.
Narrated by Earth Store Bodhisattva:
Blessings to all! Everyone present is a heavenly honored guest making our place here so full of brilliance. Sheng Xian Tang has received Yu Di’s Order to write the Book to urge human beings to do good. JiGong is very jovial and when human beings see him, they feel very happy. The words coming from him are like wonderful remedy. He can raise the dead to live again. That is why Yu Di has chosen him for this mission because he is very familiar with the routine in Hades and also the wonders of Buddhist spells. He is also very talented. On the other hand, Yang Sheng is the leading planchette handler of Sheng Xian Tang. His spiritual nature is clear and bright. He has attained great merits and gratitude by following JiGong to tour Hades, visiting all the Ten Tribunals and Prisons. Now that the Book is completed we will celebrate the achievement by holding this dinner. Also in the Spiritual Realm here, there is no differentiation between any religion, and also all round friendly feeling prevails with spirit of harmony where universal principle of unselfishness exists side by side with justice and equality. I hope all human beings will cultivate morality of Confucius and Mencius, otherwise moral obligations will be damaged, resulting ultimately in human beings becoming uncivilized and savage – this will then be an end to civilization. The universal principle should be; abundant public-spirit to govern all aspects under the sky. Then only can Utopia be promoted and become a reality resulting in human beings attaining happiness.
As time is rather limited and in case we have not entertained you well enough, I beg all Deities and Saints present to kindly pardon me. I am very happy that JiGong and Yang Sheng are able to join us for today’s dinner. I’m very happy indeed. By using planchette writing as a means of teaching people to do good deeds is obedience to Heaven and bestows blessing to mankind. The completion of the Book, Diyu Youji is mainly due to the holy spirit of ancient sages transmitted by planchette writing by means of the willow branch. Human beings must realize that those in Heaven are very much concerned for their welfare. They must observe moral principle, fairness, justice, when dealing with fellow human beings. Otherwise, after death, their souls will have to suffer in Hades. For your information,
For whom do we take the trouble, and for whom do we undertake this work? Yin Yang Jie, Gui Men Guan and other places in Hades had been visited during the last two years. It is like casting a brick, hoping to get a jade in return. I expect human beings to avoid evil doings and turn to good. Our job is finished. What remains is to see the fruits of the teachings as laid in our Book. We have completed the mission entrusted to us and our responsibility is over. To take up ascetic practice, it depends entirely upon the individual; we cannot force him to do it. To fall down to Hades or to ascend to Heaven is the choice of the person himself. I will reiterate. Human beings should be like the lotus flower – grow in filthy pond but the flower is still pure!

TOURING 10TH TRIBUNAL
THE DIRTY BLOOD POND AND EASTERN PEAK PAVILION
Narrated by JiGong:
During our various visits to Hades, we came across so many souls all stupefied. Before reborn, they did not know who they were. After birth they also did not know who they were. Their eyes have a blank look, exactly like those of couldn’t care-less school children going to school everyday, eating their lunch and playing about without paying attention to their studies and, on examination time, failing miserably, like idiots. I hope you people will behave like good human beings and endeavor to do good deeds. You must not be sinful or do evil deeds against morality thereby avoiding being sent to Hell at death to undergo punishment for your sins – this punishment is most terrible.
Dirty Blood Pond
Souls either floating or sinking; cries for help. Air is foul-smelling. The Hell guards herding sinful souls along.
Located at Bridge of Distress, where the sinful souls fall down from the bridge into pit of poisonous snakes. The snakes bite them and the dirty blood will flow into the Pond.
Offences:
1) Deities and saints must be given due respect and reverence but human use bad language thereby offending them.
2) Filthy language to scold fore fathers.
3) Implicate people by false charges
4) Indulge sexual intercourse in open - sun light, moon light, star light with no sense of modesty.
5) Become prostitutes to earn money
6) Using dirty/obscene language
7) Partake unwholesome meat and food as tonic for the body
8) Indulge in vicious sensuality thus damaging their bodies
9) Take pleasure in killing living beings
10) Desecrating places of worship, holy books.
Not True:
Women who die because of child birth are sent to Dirty Pond. No such logic.
In such case, those who have relatives who died through child birth, should do more good and meritorious deeds, say more prayers, print religious tracts for others to read so that saints and deities can protect and guide the floating souls.
Eastern Peak Pavilion
The first of five Sacred Mountains.
Controls all ten Tribunals. Regarded as highest office administering justice.
Controls all roaming and unattached souls, promote and demote saints, deities and devils on Earth.
Report to Celestial Emperor, and obtain authority to carry out the work.
If god of mountains, local deities, head of local deities, any deities under control of Eastern Peak, or any of the Ten Tribunals, have any problems, they refer to this office.
Authority above Eastern Peak, is Pontiff of the World of Darkness who controls relieving souls out of purgatory.
Noted roaming spirits/souls disturb people on Earth, is there any loophole?
Nothing escape.
There are still many roaming souls on Earth disturbing people. Laws in Hell is very strict but with merciful heart. Have to be reasonable. There are quite a number of roaming souls on Earth who died through murders, accidents etc, special permission to go back to Earth had been given to take revenge.
Some of these souls tend to act without due consideration and when they see human beings, they are apt to disturb them. But if a person has good fate and good luck, or good morality or ascetic practice, he/she cannot be harmed. If roaming disturbing soul does not follow reason and is detected by Underworld police or deities on Earth, the soul will be arrested and brought back here for punishment.

TOURING 10TH TRIBUNAL
VISITING MORALITY CENTRE
BUREAU OF REWARD GOOD SOULS
BUREAU OF PUNISHING THE EVIL
Morality Centre
Teaching and training future deities and saints to be sent to Earth.
For those souls that had merits but not enough merits to justify their souls to ascend to Heaven after death. After the souls gone through required training, they had options:-
1) straight to Heaven
2) sent to Earth as deities and saints to save human beings
Training:
Studying moral lessons. Examined periodically to test the effects and influence of wealth, of beautiful woman, after attaining wealth and desirability to help others.
Only if the heart can remain steady, can be tests be passed.
The tests arranged by fairies.
If fail the tests, have to undergo further training.
Bureau of reward good souls
The souls attended by Good Spirits and appear moving freely without being chained or handcuffed.
For souls that have more merits than demerits and await assessments. The souls are free, have unrestricted movement, can eat and drink, can have discussion among themselves, can play chess.
Bureau of punishing the evil
All souls are handcuffed and escorted by Underworld's guards. For souls who committed sins which were against relationship of human beings. The inner spirit inside a person, or roving day and night spirits, will make records of any misdeeds or sins a person commits daily and report to Underworld.
If the sins are serious, this office will absorb the personal spirit of the evil doer to Underworld for punishment. The body of the person will feel sick, headache, giddiness, uncomfortable, not realising that his soul is being punished in Underworld. After serving punishment, the soul is released and then re-enters his human body, then all sickness disappears.
In some cases, the handcuffed souls are those souls still living in Earth.
Another duty is - the soul after dies, is sent here for punishment while awaiting results of investigation of all Tribunals in Underworld, after that the soul will be sent to the various Tribunals for further punishment.
This office called 'temporarily lock up'.

VISITING THE COMMON PEOPLE'S SECTION
A City. Lots of people moving about. Everyone smiling and in happy mood. Absence of hell guards in this place.
A human being whose merits and de-merits balance, who had no hatred but more love when alive, after death, his/her soul will be sent here.
Life is like in Earth, with merchants and farmers. During his lifetime, it is good person was either a merchant or a farmer, after death his soul will be sent here to be either merchant or a farmer but conditions are not as advanced as on Earth and he has to work hard.
Buildings are made of wood, unlike mansions in Earth, as suitable for souls to stay in wooden buildings.
There are restaurants and shops. There are chaps very much like people on Earth but keep their hair long with old fashioned dress. This section had souls with different generations, and keep their old methods of living.
Although Earth and Underworld are separated, yet the mind is same. What occupation the person had in Earth, he will follow the same occupation after death.
The farmers use manual labor working the farm, no animals or machines. This is because the souls not so lucky like those on Earth, they have to depend on their own hands, sweat and strength to work the farms.
Life
The souls here have three meals (food and drinks). They have seven passions (joy, anger, grief, fear, love, hatred and desire) and six roots of sensation (eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, mind).
There is marriage in this Section.
They will grow old with age and when the time comes, they are retired and reborn.
Burning of joss paper, candles, joss sticks etc
A square inch of land can be worth an inch of gold. Burning of joss sticks etc, turning into ashes on earth, transforming into gold in this Section. The souls will enjoy the benefits of the joss paper burnt throught their five vitals absorbing vapor. This is exactly like human beings absorbing nourishment for promotion of body growth.
Dream of dead relatives asking for money etc
In Underworld, the souls consume the vapor or fume of food offerings. The souls must do work if not, their energy is lost. Therefore, they asking for food to replenish the lost energy.
Not necessary to burn a lot of joss papers etc. A token burning will meet the case as mark of respect. The reason why the living make offerings in any form to the dead is to show their gratitude and respect to the dead, this is quite alright considering the living are left with money by the dead, the benefits which the dead cannot enjoy.
When the joss papers of different qualities are burnt and arrive in Underworld, there are bound to be many 'returned cheques' which means manufacturers who want to make easy money will have to answer their misdeeds, after they die.
Difference to the sinful souls in Underworld
More freedom. But must obtain permission when they want to visit Earth e.g. 7th month of lunar calendar.
Narrated by JiGong:
I advise humans to engage in regeneration, and learn the ascetic practices so they can acquire knowledge of the truth, and realize that their bodies are all but illusory. They should not hold on to life after death. If they do not mend their ways and lead a path toward spiritual perfection, they will never escape from the cycle of birth and death. They will be entangled in the vicious circle without end.

VISITING THE SIX PATHS OF METEMPSYCHOSIS
Narrated by King Zhuan Lung (10th Tribunal)
So long as mankind and all living things do not discard evil to follow the good, the Wheel of Stages of Transmigration of Souls will continue to be operative and active which means all living things will continue to be unlucky.
Red river, water rolling, like boiling. Vigour and blood of all living things are blended together, exactly like sensual and sexual desires of human beings on Earth, up and down! Up and down!
Huge wheel revolving endlessly in the Red river. The stage of transmigration of souls floating and bouncing up and down in unison with the rolling water, the wheel revolving all the time.
There are six bridges lead to the Six Paths of Transmigration of Souls. There are:
1) Golden Bridge: Those souls who had accumulated much merit when living on Earth, after passing through all the Tribunals in Underworld, given clean passage by Registrar, to go to Paradise/Heaven.
In the case of souls who cultivate Divine Element within themselves, they will ascend to Paradise without use Golden Bridge.
2) Silver Bridge: Those who earn medium merits, after death their souls will be sent to center of perfection in hell for furthering their religious studies and perfecting their regeneration.Once they have passed their examination and learned the canonical books thoroughly, they are authorized to come to the Styx (Cascade of Nine Streams) for purification of their vital energy. Then they will allowed to cross the Bridge as Deity/Spirit for human beings to worship.
3) Jade Bridge: Those who earned some merits, after death, their souls had gone through all Tribunals, will be allowed to be reborn as rich/noble persons.
4) Stone Bridge: Those who had equal measure of merits as well as sins, will be allowed to be reborn as ordinary human beings.
5) Wooden Bridge: Those who had committed more sins than merits, will be reborn as poor, lonely, miserable, destitute, lower strata human beings.
6) Bamboo Bridge: Those who had full measure of iniquity and whose actions were contrary to humanity, murderers, robbers and rapists, destined to be reborn as animals, fowls, fishes, worms.
The souls have eaten the amnesiac soup that erases their former life from their minds. The absorption of this porridge puts them in a state of semi-consciousness, and they jostle each other on the paths allotted to them. Some souls wear costumes of Mandarins, others carry the tools and implements of their work, others have their inkstands and brush-pens. There are also simpletons and souls wearing animals’ furs and horns. Everyone manifests an ardent yearning to go to the terrestrial world.
While in their state of semi-consciousness, they rush blindly toward the Bridges of Jade, Wood, and Bamboo to approach the Reincarnation-Wheel. Some of them fall off the bridge and disappear in the waves.
All creatures are created by the fertilization of the vital breath energy from Yin and Yang. The Reincarnation-Wheel is the pattern of a mixture of the Yin and Yang among humans. When a male and a female are in a state of sexual excitement, their spirits rise in ecstasy, their over brimming sperm and blood are similar to the waves of the Crimson River that push and revolve the Reincarnation Wheel, like a river-current turns the irrigation system with its force. The semi-conscious souls are sucked in by the wheel, following their assigned destinies. In the world, the semen and blood of the two sexes in intercourse form a fetus in the womb of the mother: the vital essence impregnates the embryo until it is born to life, nine months later. At the moment the Reincarnation Wheel heaves it into existence, a wailing is heard from within the wheel of the Crimson River, meanwhile the infant is born, together with spilling blood and water, and its synchronizing cries symbolize its fright when awakening in a totally strange world. That’s the way reincarnation operates.
As regards to the four categories of creatures, namely the viviparous, the oviparous, the aquatic creatures and insects, their birth takes place according to the time that their embryos are nurtured in the Reincarnation Wheel.
The incessant rotation of the wheel often gives the pregnant woman a sensation of nausea. These are the moments when the fetus feels dizzy, like passengers feeling uneasy in a jerky carriage in movement or aboard a plane in flight.
This wheel has the form of the octagonal diagram Pa-Kua, with a circle at the center representing the Great Extreme or the Infinite (Wu-Ki). The same principle and law governs the Reincarnation Wheel that turns and multiplies indefinitely. Inside the wheel, there are six holes for the reincarnated souls.
The first hole is for the souls to be reincarnated into high-ranking dignitaries, noblemen, and titled persons.
The second hole is for future intellectual men, husbandmen, industrialists, and merchants (including poor people, orphans, widows and widowers).
The third hole is for the souls to be transformed into animals (buffalos, horses, dogs...)
The fourth hole will make fowls of the souls.
The fifth hole is for fish, mollusks and crustaceans.
The sixth hole is for insects.
It is thus depending upon their merits and sins for the souls to be categorized among the six above cited groups.
That action is comparable to factories in the world. Manufactured products differ as consistently as raw materials, which are employed to produce them. As a matter of fact, good timber is utilized for solid construction, whereas wood of average quality is used for fuel.
Another explanation of Six Paths of Metempsychosis
1) Devas
The first path leads to Paradise where there are fairies, Buddhas, Deities, Saints
Need not pass through the Six Paths of transmigration.
2) Human
3) Asuras
4) Beasts
5) Hungry Ghosts
6) Hell
There are others like founders of religions, patron saints voluntarily pass through this transmigration to be reborn as human beings in order to teach people to do good deeds and save them.
Advise from King Zhuan Lun:
I sincerely hope all of you will take up ascetic practices as early as possible. Once a soul is lost in Hell, it will be more difficult to save it.

VISIT TO THE 10TH PALACE AND THE LADY MENG’S INN
Narrated by JiGong:
When we stand, we must stand up-right. The body must not bend in any direction. The same applies to human beings - be straightforward, you must not cheat others and you must not set one person against another. You must be helpful to others and must not be lazy so that an example can be shown for others to emulate.
If when standing, you are not steady, so likewise, when sitting or sleeping, you cannot sit or sleep steadily too. Those who want to be ascetic practitioners must have a steady and stout heart, must not show any sign of a wavering heart any time.
Reincarnation Center
Noted people of all races, from Asia and Europe.
A soul must pass through all Tribunals to be judged for their deeds when living on Earth. Hell is like an International Court of Justice. Irrespective of what colour, all souls to be reborn must have evidence that they can be reborn, exactly like those human beings who wish to leave one country for another to have a valid passport.
Bureau Governing Birth
Transmigration Station. Just like human beings waiting at a railway station for the train to arrive. When train is ready to depart, passengers board the carriages and the wheels of the train start; each passengers holds a ticket to go to his destination. The souls at this Station will be brought to their various rebirth destinations.
Inn of Lady Meng
It has the faculty of erasing from the souls’ memory all that is related to their former life and to the time spent in hell.
By order of the Celestial Emperor, she is in charge of having souls consume this soup (amnesiac soup) before their reincarnation. Otherwise, the children born in their new existence will grow up and remember all the facts concerning their former lives. They will search for and find their parents and the members of their families, creating a great disorder in social relations and family ties. More than that, they will locate their foes and take revenge. This soup is a mixture of various flavors (acid, pungent, salted, sweet, bitter) combined in such a way that those consuming it lose all sense of orientation, experience, and fall into one of the six ways of transmigration.
This soup is infatuated soup which makes one's mind confused. Just like liquor, one cannot differentiate between north, south, west and east, so likewise, a soul after drinking this soup, is not truly himself, losing his own wits and wandering aimlessly towards Metempsychosis Station. Drunkards are usually bold, not fearing water or fire, and dare to jump into a deep ocean. After drinking this soup, a soul becomes unable to control himself, proceeds straight to the Metempsychosis Station and only after the effects of the soup are over will he then realise that he is in another World on awakening.
After a sinful soul passed through the various punishments meted out at the various Tribunals, the throat is dry and thirsty and when this Tenth Tribunal is reached, the soul thinks the journey is end and Earth is near. Outside of this Inn, there is hot vapor which makes every soul thirsty and thus urge to quench their thirst. Some of cunning souls who come here refusing to enter into the Inn because they know the effects of drinking this soup. But under the ground an iron hook contraption has the effect of gripping the feet to prevent movement. At the same time, a female attendant nearby forces these cunning souls to drink this soup.
With the given amnesiac effect of the soup, why is it that our babies born now are so prematurely clever? Should we attribute the fact to the mediocrity of the porridge whose properties become weaker?
From time immemorial, the humans have undergone innumerable incarnations. Their transmigrations have been repeated many times; each of them is preceded by a forcible taking of amnesiac porridge. Because they have taken it several times, the souls become immune to its effect, and the expected amnesia is far from absolute. Thus, the intelligence of some present-day babies is quite advanced. Man often calls his stubborn children “demons’ head or demons’ brains”. The repeated use of this undesirable porridge results in acquiring some immunity. This fact, by itself, provides no joy to mankind.
Prematurely smart babies are more likely to adopt vices, and unless they are carefully educated and guided to the right path, they will do more harm to society than normally clever babies do. This is the reason the living world counts an ever-increasing number of harmful and unreliable people who use their brains for doing evil. The cleverer they are, the more easily they deviate from the right path. An unusual intelligence, therefore, is most undesirable.

VISIT TO THE 10TH PALACE AND VISIT OF REINCARNATION CENTER
Narrated by JiGong:
The Six Paths of Metempsychosis (devas, human, asuras, beasts, hungry ghost and hell beings) are like non-stop revolving of a wheel. Those caught in the wheel without way to escape will become a “demon of the wheel” for life. I hope that within death, man will discover life. Therefore, when being rotated by the Reincarnation-Wheel, the soul must know how to survive, and not be like a blind man who walks into the tiger’s jaws. The best solution is to avoid hell, or have sufficient time to repent for previous errors. In this manner, he will have a chance to proceed further, to the exploration journey into the future.
Narrated by Zhuan Lun Wang (King of Reincarnation-Wheel)
This Gate of Reincarnation is operated with absolute impartiality. The destination of each soul is based on his karmic affinities. The decision that he will be sent east or west, south or north depends on his action in his former existence.
Narrated by JiGong:
Devout ascetic practitioners, after death, will proceed direct to Heaven to reap fruits of their ascetic practices, others who do not have much principles and morality, after death, have to passed through all Tribunals and 8 offices of Reincarnation Center. There are officers run the operation in each offices.
Signboard : Zhuan Jie Shuo (Reincarnation Center)
Many souls escorted by Guards. These guards presenting great number of documents to the Officers.
Procedure of transmigration of souls. When the human dies, the beneficent Deity of his locality, Deity of the City, Guards of Hades, or messengers of Death will bring the soul to Gui Men Guan (Portico of Demons). They will be reported to Registration Office, pass through all Tribunals, to be punished according to magnitude of his/her sins and then to 10th tribunal to await retribution.
8 offices in Reincarnation Center.
1. Verification Office
The souls will be sent here after gone through all punishments in previous 9 Tribunals. This office verify whether all punishments had been meted out, if there is punishment not served or missed out, the sinful soul will be sent back to respective Tribunal to serve his/her term.
2. Virtuous Acts Investigation Office
The extent or any of the virtuous acts done by a soul will be assessed so that, when they are reborn, by way of good luck, can be accorded to them. Those with good virtuous acts will be reborn in good family/good life/less suffering life/wealthy family.
These awards dished out are duties and responsibilities of this Office.
3. Magnitude of Sins Office
Assess what sins a soul had committed when alive on Earth - to judge whether a sin was light, heavy, minor or serious.
3.1. If one done small good deeds and never commit grave sins. Reborn with just enough to eat and wear, will get protection from parents. Husband/wife relationship normal. Children will take care of him/her.
3.2 If one merits and demerits even/balanced. Reborn with enough to eat and wear, family - ok, husband/wife - ok, surrounded by children, but have to slog for living.
3.3 If one had no merits whatsoever, but had string of demerits. Reborn with many difficulties e.g. family broken early, widow etc.
3.4 If committed grave sins. Reborn a deformed pauper with some form of disability - dumb, blind, lame, deaf etc.
3.5
3.5.1 If one discarded the five human relationship - husband/wife; brother/sister; parent/children; friendship; loyalty to country
3.5.2 Eight virtues - filial piety, brotherly love, loyalty to country, trustworthiness, courtesy, righteousness, chastity and shame.
and further virtues on woman soul - three degrees of dependence - her father, her husband and her children.
These, will be regarded as committed grave sins and will be reborn as beast/animals e.g. via female womb, eggs, sea creatures, worms. This is called retaliatory recompense.
4. Love and Hatred Office
Decides whether a person, on rebirth, will have gratitude or take revenge.
If a person, who had good deeds done to him by others, dies, his soul will be upon reborn, having gratitude and repay the good deeds he had previously received.
If a person, when alive, had been insulted, maltreated or oppressed by others, after death, his soul will retain hatred, upon reborn, will take revenge on those who previously done him wrong.
In case of female, when alive wronged by a male, dies in deep anger and hatred, her soul when due for rebirth can refuse to be reborn as human but prefer to be revengeful ghost so that she can go to Earth and cause sudden death or 'unexpected calamity' to the male. Her request will be entertained after assessment by this Office.
5. Life span Office
Decides life span of a person to be reborn - whether to have long or short life, die with agony, die from death sentence, die of murder etc.
6. Allocation of family relationship Office
Allocates various duties and responsibilities of members of family e.g. parents/children, husband/wife, brothers/sisters. All these are results of cause and effect.
Born filial, disobedient, good nature partner, unfaithful partner etc.
Example: Mr A give financial assistance to Mr B. When Mr B dies, he indebted to Mr A as in his lifetime he did not settle with Mr A. In Hades, if Mr B not very sinful person when alive, on being reborn, will be children of Mr A so that he could be filial son and repay his debt to Mr A.
Example: Mr C when alive cheated Mr D and resulted in death of Mr D. Mr D can be reborn a son of Mr C and when grown up, use up Mr C's properties.

TOURING AVICII
Vast. Limitless.
Liken to person's nose. To say it is big, it is not big, yet the nose controls a person's being and extremities because the breath passes through the nose.
Those souls who are sent to Avicii are most sinful.
A big cave. Extremely dark. Sounds of wailing and bubbling water can be heard.
18 levels. Studded with up-pointed sharp spikes and the floor covered with hot mud.
When the sinful souls nears entrance of the cave, a General pushes the soul inside by means of his sharp spear and as the soul falls down, the centre of the cave sucks the soul in and after that, wailing sounds are heard.
Majority of these sinful souls who are sent to Avicii cannot be saved from death e.g. no chance for rebirth/reincarnation. Liken to life sentence imprisonment passed by law court on Earth.

TOURING THE RED AND PURPLE VENOMOUS SNAKES PRISON
Narrated by JiGong:
Heaven is intended specially for those who are virtuous and ascetic practitioners. Underworld is just opposite of Heaven. Those who led evil lives in Earth, after death, are sent to Underworld for punishment. These two places are poles apart.
The lifespan of human is not long; it is comparatively short. Human beings make the fullest of their intelligence, talent and compassion for benefit of others. Human beings ignoring chances of doing good and now their souls have undergo such suffering in Underworld, it is not worthwhile.
Venomous Snakes prison
Huge snakes on the ground. Red and purple snakes, wriggling. The snakes entering the mouth of sinful soul and coming out through the navel. Body of sinful soul bitten by snake. Blood oozing out from wound. The face of sinful soul death pale, faint away and drop to ground.
On Earth, there are people who, instead of following the true and righteous path, prefer to find loop holes in the laws to obtain undue advantage over others for their own selfish gains, exactly like the poison of these snakes.
Also, there are people who take pleasure in instigating others and thereby causing people to be quarrel with one another.
There are people secretly carrying knives and bearing scrappers and will not hesitate to use them at slightest provocation.
There are house building contractors who cheat by poor or substandard construction of houses which collapse thus causing death to occupants.

TOURING THE PRISON OF SPLASHING BOILING OIL
A distressing spectacle is displayed: in the temples and churches, the atmosphere is cheerless and dim. Artificial flowers with depressed outlooks, and the smell of alcohol, meat, and passionate desires have taken place a long time ago to slowly lead man to the marsh of crimes. This explains why hell is being overcrowded with damned souls. I hope that men will awaken themselves quickly.
Under Ninth Tribunal.
Crying. Great number of cauldrons lying about containing boiling oil very much like boiling oil for boiling twisted dough fritters or doughnuts. Underneath each cauldron, fierce fire can be seen. Guards from underworld busy pouring oil into cauldrons and also feeding the fires below.
Sinful souls are tied to poles as near as possible surrounding each cauldron. When the oil gets boiling hot, the guards from underworld throw cold water into the cauldrons thus making hot boiling oil splash on the naked bodies of sinful souls causing blisters to be formed on the skins. The sinful souls emit such painful shrieks.
A case of a writer
Intention to write decent books but not command good sale. Therefore, resort to 'yellow literature'/obscene books which tend to corrupt the minds of readers.
These books cause readers to have negative thinking thus making readers indulge in degradation to patronise in red light district, or to rape and murder.
A case of operating photo studio
Specialise in obscene photos which resulted in enormous sales thus making plenty of money.
Conclusion: Writers of obscene literature and books, photographers of obscene photos, manufacturers of aphrodisiacs, printers and publishers of obscene books and literature, book sellers and others dealing directly or indirectly with these merchandise, their sins are of equal magnitude and when their souls arrive to the Underworld after death, their punishment will be severe.
Of all vices, lewdness is the number one. The sinners cause much 'dirtiness' to the spirit of human beings; therefore their sins are very great warranting equally severe punishment.

Heavenly music. Can be heard by one who is very devout ascetic practitioner. Ordinary ascetic practitioner can't hear it.
For sinful soul, he can hear wailing of devils or clanging of iron chains. This is omen of arrest of sinful person by Guards of Hell.
Ping Deng Wang. All souls receive punishment starting from 1st to 8th Tribunal according to nature and severity of their sins but there are others whose sins are much greater - such sins to be judged with impartiality. If the sins is not too great or serious, then the soul will be directed to sent to 10th Tribunal for rebirth.
In charge of Avicii Hell and also 16 other small prisons. There are 18 levels descending to Avicii which is centre of Hell. The darkness is so intense that fingers cannot be seen. The floor is mire and black like black coffee.

TOURING THE SMALL PRISON FOR AMPUTATING LIMBS
Narrates by JiGong
If a person revives after his supposed death, the revival can be said to be 'life after death', but if a living person dies, then his death is a true death. Something gained is usually at the expense of something lost. This is result of transmigration. When two small children grow up together they tend to be good natured and angel like, but nowadays, grown ups or those who attain maturity with numerous sins they encounter and commit, will lead them ultimately to undergo 6 transmigration of souls. Therefore, spiritual people or ascetic practitioners will have to preserve their chastity, vigour and vitality and not associate with opposite sex, otherwise, with such association they will have to repay dearly for their carnal sins. How long is one's life span? Then why commit sins?
Prison of limbs amputation
Big field. Wailing voice. Sinful souls tied up and kneeling on the ground.
The guards chop off the left and right arms near the shoulders. The sinful souls shriek and fall down sprawling on the ground.
Then the guards chop off two legs - the ground covered with blood.
Offences committed
Harm and kill people.
Unfilial, disloyal, pirates and use their hands to kill others, use the pen to harm others, or use their leg to harm others.
Stealing - name, honor, property, opposite sex, life not through righteous means.
Short cuts to attain what they want.

When the winds blow over meat jam, the souls regain their original form and repeat meat jam again.

1. Treacherous, lecherous
2. Unfilial
3. Murderers
Types of guards
1. Hei Bai Wu Chang "the impermanent black-and-white"
2. Fan Wujiu “the bastards” (born from unknown fathers, and from mixture of races)
3. Xie Bi'an “the redoubtables”
When sinful souls see this fierce faces, they become frightened and their legs turn soft thus easily to be arrested. In Earth, when criminal sees policeman, they try to avoid and escape, or urinates.
When less sinful soul see them, they won't feel afraid. In Earth, those free of crime when see policeman, look at policeman as ordinary people.

TOURING DOU SHI WANG (KING OF EQUALITY)
Narrated by JiGong:
The brightness of the moon is intense but does not affect the eyes. This brightness is called "brightness of nature". Those devout ascetic practitioners have hearts which able to receive the reflection of this brightness. This means their hearts are sincere and pure - not a spot of dirt or dirtiness - quiet, peaceful, brilliant.
Because the heart is peaceful and serene, truthfulness prevails but nothing is concealed, thus making owner's original pure personality at birth, and able to differentiate between what is right and wrong.
Ascetic practitioners should endeavour to retain their original state of birth and should not influenced by its surrounding sinful world. Human beings now walk about the marble floors and pitch roads, live in houses, sitting, sleeping on most expensive beds and enjoying every type of luxury but wherever they go about, dirt will surround their bodies. Even there is suction machine, bleaching powder, dresses must be changed frequently.
Now, I come to Earth and communicate with human by means of planchette writting but some are skeptical and have doubts. However, some who enlightened become aware and understand my communication and is what I want to make known.
Narrated by JiGong again:
Useless things can become valuable sometimes. What you don't want and throw away, others pick up for future use.
Narrated by Dou Shi Wang
Accomplishing a divine mission isn’t an easy task. Every minute and second, you must exert patience and efforts without failure. If you deviate from your task a single second, you may never redeem your mistakes. While man’s heart is still troubled, he cannot approach the Tao. Conversely, if he continue to strengthen his will, regeneration will be possible. Thanks to the cultivation of body and mind, people commit fewer errors. As a conclusion, by keeping a regenerated heart we can attain the Tao even in the terrestrial world. Whether success can be obtained or not depends entirely upon us.
Scope of Eight Tribunal
To judge left-over sins of souls not dealt with by the first up to seventh.
Contain one large prison (Hot prison) and 16 smaller prisons.
Advise from Dou Shi Wang
Human should perform their duties diligently and maintain self-restraint. To walk on the right path, to learn morality, and regenerate themselves for acquiring knowledge of the absolute truth - To know about their soul origin and destination in order to avoid hell and painful reincarnations.
Why this book do not publish sinful souls' names?
When sinful souls see you, a human being to gather facts by enquiring them, they feel ashamed. Yu Huang has ordered identities must not be made known, only to mention what sins had been committed and no more. If the names and addresses are made known, the descendants of those mentioned, still living in Earth will be ashamed, and families will be involved in misunderstandings.
Narrated by JiGong:
A nobleman is forever noble, and a vile man remains as ever vulgar. If one has to deal with a sinner, one must first arrest him. Then his identity will be asked later. The fact of believing or not believing in the existence of paradise and hell is without importance, because if the people act dishonestly or inhumanly, they will fall into the grip of the King of Hell. At that time, it will be too late to believe.

Narrated by JiGong:
Human beings must understand life is not forever. The biggest and tallest buildings are only for temporary shelter because people cannot live forever. In China Yangtze River the waves behind push the waves in front into the sea. Likewise, in society, the elders must make way for the youngsters. Therefore, this awakening of reality must be present and everyone must try to do good deeds at the earliest opportunity.
TOURING "PULLING OUT TONGUE AND PIERCING CHEEK" SMALL PRISON
Under control of 7th Tribunal.
The voices wailing loudly. The guards using iron hooks to prise open the mouth to pull out the tongues of sinful souls. Then using sharp knives to extract tongues. Fresh red blood oozes out splashing on the chest of victims.
Then the guards using iron wire to thread through the cheeks and tie the heads backwards to iron poles.
The tongue is connected to the heart, when the tongue is cut off, the heart feels very painful. Hands and legs begin to tremble, urine and dung are forced out from inside.
*** Sin: No morality in mouth.
A case of jealousy
Jealous nature, often setting variance and intrigue, causing trouble to families and setting one member of family against another. Cause older folks to be left unattended in the family.
Do not observe politeness and decorum and like to shout loudly. Like to whisper at ears of menfolk, often talking things which were unlawful and indecent.
A case of bad temper
When encounter incidents which did not like, or heard anything which detested, let off string of abuses. Using obscene language when lashed out.
One caused by slander hard to heal, tends to uncouth, impolite and insulting and not consider five aspects of human relationships.
1) parents/children
2) husband/wife
3) brothers/sisters
4) friendship
5) government/citizenship
A case of a monk
Criticise other religions, saints and deities, saying they were not true religion and therefore, should not worshipped or followed. Resulting some stop worshipping original religion and some resort to slander.
Many saints and deities come and tie up him upon his death.
These sins are totally unpardonable. Those religious teachers, monkhood and ascetic practitioners must realise true purpose of such religious practices - to understand the heart which lead to understand spirituality. One should not teach to upset other religious beliefs.

TOURING "CARRYING STONE SLAB ON HEAD AND CROUCH-WALKING" SMALL PRISON
Narrated by JiGong: To be successful requires diligence and hard work. Things done without much effort will not be successful. Do not procrastinate in anything because those who do will live to regret when they grow old.
Human body can be likened unto aircraft flying. There must be not be any trouble inside the body, if there is, there is bound to be danger, very much like an aircraft falling down into a deep valley and the human body will be smashed beyond recognition. Therefore, must take care of the body. Some souls are sent to Hades/Underworld to be punished because, just for one moment, due to lack of fore-thought, they committed a sin in their lifetime.
Visiting 7th Tribunal - "Carrying Stone Slab on Head and Crouch-walking" small prison.
The souls busy doing work - moving stone slabs. Big slabs of stone being placed on the head, both hands supporting, the body crouching and both legs moving step by step forward. They are sufferring terribly. Some who are not careful enough to let the big slabs fall on their body and they faint away. The guards sprinkle reviving water on them and they revive to lift up the fallen slabs to their head and proceed onwards, crouching all the time.
Narrated by the Guard: When they are alive, they are thick headed and egoistic. Some were school teachers who disrespect their profession. Some were students who did not honor and respect their teachers.
A case of a school teacher
Paid too much attention to girl students and entice them.
Purpose of punishment of carrying stone slab on your head is to make you downcast and ashamed to lift up your head to face people. Therefore advice human beings especially instructors e.g. religious or not, must be regarded as parents and to the students as children, so there must be mutual respect.
A case of religious person
Led a religious life. Read through numerous religious books and being well versed in them. Despise religious superior and began to regard self as superior. Often criticize his religious superior, spoil his good name.
The progress or success of students is mainly due to good instructions of teachers or instructors. Therefore, students should honor and respect teachers. But nowadays, human beings are very selfish an self-opinionated. Their main aim to get money all the time and ungrateful to their teachers. Opening up rival establishments to compete with their teachers/instructors.
A case of well-to-do person
Gift of eloquence. Look down the poor and less fortunate and often use position and eloquence to run down others. Like to talk big.
Remember we should always reserve a certain portion of opportunities on Earth for others, don't be selfish to monopolise. Do not despise others when successful or influential.

TOURING DISEMBOWEL SMALL PRISON
Narrated by JiGong:
- Souls of human beings able to tour Underworld by themselves
- Some people on rebirth able to recount occurrences in Underworld
- Prove that Holy Scripture recount is true
- Most human being tend to disbelieve because of "seeing is believing" e.g. because they do not experienced the happenings in Underworld
- We cannot see our internal organs of the body and therefore we have no fear about our inside but in case we can see the various functions of our internal organs, we tend to have uneasy feelings should any item mis-function.
- If one cannot see what is inside his body, then the internal organs do not exist inside him?
- Things which they do not see, actually can exist. One's thinking, breathing, emotion etc, all these we cannot see but they do exist. These are part of one's life, without these, where is life?
Narrated by JiGong:-
- a lot of people know that actions against law and actions against fellow human beings are evil but they still commit sins
- they do not act like a blind who, by using his walking stick, test the road ahead before he takes a step
- these human beings eventually fall into a deep pit in Hades and do not know when or how they will be saved
The disembowel small prison
All sinful souls are lined up, bare bodied and strapped to wooden pillars, the stomach facing out.
Prison guards plunge knives into the bare stomachs and draw downwards thus opening the stomach, instestines flow down with blood oozing out with foul smell.
Once the bowels and intestines drop out, a number of black dogs rush to eat them. One end of the entrials is still attached to the inside and when the dog pull the bowels and intestine, much pain cause to the heart and the sinful souls faint away.
A case of government official
Accept bribes. Juggling land deals thereby obtaining quite a good sum of money.
Did not do welfare of common people but suck their blood. Thus, the inside body is "dirty". Advise in government service to help and love the common people - loving common people is loving your country.
A case of businesswoman
Had failed in business, become a banker. Desperate, cheated the shareholders and ran away to another town.
Cheated the money contributions of the shareholders by "swallowing" the money and not vomitting out. Therefore, this prison is extracting the bowel and intestines to "vomit it out". The amount you cheated, the same amount you have to repay. After served the sentence, will be reborn to repay the debts.
A case of vegetable gardener
Planted vegetables, worms and insects attacked vegetables. Spray insecticides on vegetables. Did not wait effects of insecticides to wear out but harvested and sold my vegetables for quick money.
The insecticides on vegetables were poisonous, resulting many deaths. Some had kidney trouble, some have liver trouble, others suffer from cancer.
A case of a foster mother
Had adopted daughter. Often beat her. Sold her as prostitute when she grew up.
